13 new sculptures exhibited in the Ayia Napa Sculpture Park (Photos)

Eleven artists from all over the world are working on 13 new sculptures for the Ayia Napa Sculpture Park, which is fast becoming the most important cultural venue of Ayia Napa. 

The second Phase of the 6th International Sculpture Symposium started on March 15th and will be completed by April 15th, with the participation of international artists, such as Daniel Perez from Spain with his work “Fragmented Memories”, Ivan Malkhaz Tsiskadze from Georgia with the works “Pegasus” and “Ninpha”, Olena Dodatko, Ιhor Tkachivskyi and Ina Tkachivska from Ukraine with the works: «Grain», «Love as Symbol of Goodness», «Pegasus» and «Life», Viktar Kopach from Belarus who is completing the work “Happiness”, Sestilio Burattini from Italy with the work “Wind Mills”, Νikolay Karlykhanov from Russia with the work “Minotaur”, Saeid Ahmadi from Iran with his work “Memory”, Thierry Lauwers from Belgium with the work “Artemis” and Ciprian Hopertean from Romania who is working on “Gate to the Sea”.

The world famous Spanish sculptor Daniel Perez has completed his work “Fragmented Memories” and the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Yiannis Karousos awarded him during the closing ceremony of the “3rd Ayia Napa International Street Art Festival”. Mr. Karousos thanked Mr. Perez for his great work and invited him to participate in the future Symposia organized by the Municipality.
