Always Ayia Napa platform won an award at the Tourism Awards 2019 in Greece, the most reputable tourism awards in Greece, which highlight and reward initiatives that excelled in excellence, innovation and courage.
The rebranding of Ayia Napa through the Always Ayia Napa platform is an idea and decision of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, which is implemented by Red Wolf Digital Group and W2 Strategy after an international tender. The Always Ayia Napa platform was awarded with the Destination Branding Award at the Greek Tourism Awards 2019 and highlighted the high level of work done in Ayia Napa.
The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Yiannis Karousos, after the award, emphasized that: “It is a special honor for our Municipality and for all of us to win an award at the Greek Tourism Awards among the hundreds of agencies and services that compete for an award. Our efforts on the rebranding of Ayia Napa are recognized and rewarded by such an important institution abroad, which empowers us even more to continue the work we have to do as the Municipality of Ayia Napa”.
The director of the Red Wolf Digital Group, Mr. Costas Daltas, said: “All the partners of the unique rebranding project of Ayia Napa have given their best and the recognition of this effort not only in Cyprus but also abroad shows the significance of our work for Ayia Napa and for Cypriot tourism in general”.
